Hambone Games

Thanks

Standing on the shoulders of giants.

HamboneGames wouldn't exist without the incredible work of the gaming community. Every build recommendation, DPS formula, gear set description, loadout guide, and game review in Hambone's knowledge base traces back to the people and sites listed here. They do the research, write the guides, maintain the wikis, and share it all for free. We owe them everything.

Mappalachia — AHeroicLlama

Every Fallout 76 world map in Hambone is rendered from Mappalachia, AHeroicLlama's open-source mapping tool for Appalachia. The in-game paper map, the military/topographic style, and the deep-zoom satellite base all come from it, as does the marker and location data behind the search and the utility layers. Used non-commercially; the underlying game assets remain © Bethesda Softworks.

Dragon's Dogma 2 — Capcom

Hambone's Dragon's Dogma 2 world map comes in three styles, all taken from a licensed Steam copy of the game. Lantern and Ember are rendered from the game's grayscale map masks and coloured here (the game colours those masks at runtime, so those colours are ours). The In-game map style is Capcom's own map-screen art, unaltered apart from joining its explored and post-game sheets and scaling it to the same grid. The places on the map are the game's own map-icon positions and names. Dragon's Dogma 2, its game content and its map art are © Capcom. Hambone is an unofficial, non-commercial fan site, with no affiliation with or endorsement by Capcom. The open-source tools below did the extraction.

Thank you, Claude.

Every line of code on this site, every DPS formula, every Hambone response, every data pipeline — written side-by-side with Claude, Anthropic's AI assistant. HamboneGames went from an idea to a live site in weeks instead of years because of it. One person plus Claude can build what used to take a team.

It wouldn't be possible without you. Thank you.
